![]() ![]() lspci should identify the Bluetooth hardware even if drivers aren't installed for it. ![]() Since your WiFi works, I'd say the Atheros card is working as expected and you need to identify the Bluetooth card and whether or not it exists. I once had a laptop circa 2010 with an Atheros WiFi card in it, and this painful process used to be necessary, but from about 2012 onwards Atheros drivers come built-in with the Linux kernel. Have you had bluetooth working on this laptop before? Under Windows or another Linux distribution?Īnd re: the results you found about rebuilding the kernel. Possibly `lspci | grep -i blue` may list a bluetooth adapter in the PCI devices on the computer.
